Participants will be taken through the rules book and prepared to pass the IHSAA online exam to become a licensed basketball official.  This program will include classroom instruction, on-court training and live game action to learn positioning, signals, game management, court authority, communication skills and more.  Once licensed, participant will be placed in a local officials association and given introductory level season games.  Participants will be taught by licensed officials and local assigners.
