MVP BASKETBALL
MVP Basketball partners with various youth leagues like Boys and Girls Clubs, PAL Clubs, youth feeder programs and Walter Jordan's Hoops and Standards Program to conduct coaches clinics for the youth league coaches to help them provide quality instruction and techniques. Topics covered include the necessary fundamental drills, the proper fundamental mechanics, team development and style, appropriate team strategy, player skills development depending upon age, practice planning, appropriate attitude, and most importantly, keeping the game fun.
Coach Mitch also performs training seminars working with high school coaches and teams, teaching, explaining and implementing his highly successful audible offensive system. This system is very hard for opposing teams to scout and prepare for. Pictured here alongside Head Coach Shabaz Khaliq and Coach Raher, they led North Side to the Tom Izzo Tournament Championship, back to back SAC Conference Championships, SAC Tournament Championship, A Sectional Title and a 38-8 record.
